This department diagnoses and surgically treats all kinds of impairments and diseases related to all soft tissues inside the mouth (tongue, cheeks, lips, salivary glands, etc.), and teeth, jaws, and temporomandibular (TMJ) joints. Planned surgical procedures are performed under local anesthesia, conscious sedation, or general anesthesia, depending on the procedure and the patient’s condition.
- Extraction & maintenance of teeth that are erupted or impacted.
- Implant when necessary, sinus lifting and/or graft (bone dust-autogenous block grafts) applications.
- Surgical arrangement of soft and hard tissues in the mouth before prosthesis.
- Treatment of cystic or tumoral formations in both soft (cheek, palate, tongue, lips, muscles, etc.) and hard (teeth and bones) tissues in the mouth.
- Treatment of infections in the maxillofacial area.
- Treatment of teeth and jaw fractures,
- Surgical and non-surgical treatment of temporomandibular joint diseases,
- Treatment of patients with fear of the dentist under general anesthesia and sedation.
